How to drink whisky is purely a personal taste, however, here is what many people do:[W]

1 Water

Many people add spring water to whisky so that the tongue would not be dulled. However, many people are against this because waster dilutes whisky and the taste is not as strong. Note that if you do add water, use spring water, not tap water which contains chlorine and changes the taste.

2 Soda

This is a more and more popular trend. People add soda to whisky to cover the strong liquor smell. However, many people argue that if you wanna mask the smell, why would you drink it in the first place?
